We need people

There is something about relationships that in innate. No matter our age, sex, or race, we need people. Now this doesn’t necessarily mean just the dating or sibling relationship. We need friends, good friends the kind we can talk to about our struggles, fears…everything.

After all that is what God noticed with Adam..

The LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”  Genesis 2:18

We need people..

Two are better than one,  because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down,  one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.

Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.  But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered,  two can defend themselves.

A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.  Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

A cord of three is not broken quickly…look at rope. There are many strands to make a strong rope. There is power in number to encourage, to comfort, love, to laugh. We need people..

Jesus rounded up a group of imperfect people, who we know as the  disciples, and called them his friends. We are called to have a relationship like Jesus did with humility.

In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus Philippians 2:5.

While it is important to have some one on one time with the Lord. We need people in our lives that we can call friends. If you have been distant in your relationships take time out to connect. If you find yourself not having any close friends, ask God for some, take some steps to meet some new people.

I am so thankful for the friends and family I have. Reach out and connect it is so worth it. Be blessed my friends.
