In Hiding

For you are my hiding place;
      you protect me from trouble.
              You surround me with songs of victory.

The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.

Do not be like a senseless horse or mule that needs a bit and bridle to keep it under control.” Many sorrows come to the wicked, but unfailing love surrounds those who trust the Lord.So rejoice in the Lord and be glad, all you who obey him! Shout for joy, all you whose hearts are pure!   Psalms 32:7-11

As I read this I think about all times we try to hide from people or just the craziness of this world. I totally love to sneak away from the craziness of this world.

However, no matter where we hide it doesn’t bring

the peace that we are looking for most times. However, I have found that when I look to the Lord and go to our place. (Now some people may have a particular place the go to be with the Lord, but in my case it is just a purposeful, quite, comfortable place where I meet with the Lord)

He will guide us for the best pathway… seriously, only he can guide us. If we try to do it ourselves or take the advice of other we are setting us up for less than the best. If we’re not with him, we won’t know what to do or where to go.

Don’t be like as senseless mule.. well I think we all know what that is like…keep it under control. That is so hard to do sometimes, but none the less needed.

Love surrounds those who trust the Lord. I love that picture in my head when I read that.

Be Bless my friends.
