I went to a meeting yesterday and heard a radical comment on having open hands. So I thought I share in a more visual story….
Okay so most people know that if we want to receive something we have open hands. That is… hands out, together and palms up. This is true when we want a hand out, when we need something, or when we ask God for something.
Well I have also heard the saying we are blessed to be a blessing but I never really look to deep in to this.(In which, I think that saying is referencing Gensis 12:2.)
So… at my meeting yesterday they said, that when God gives us something we need to have open hands. Also while we have it in our hands, Our hands should still be open so that if someone needs, what God has given us, we can freely and willingly give it to another so that we can be a blessing and receive more blessings.
The Challenge is to be willing to receive God’s blessings and then able to let go of that blessing, to bless others with what God has given you.
Here is some scriptures that may help you understand what I am tallking about.

The LORD their God is with them; the shout of the King is among them. Numbers 23:19-21 (NIV)
